Auditoría BIM Express
Would you trust your quantities to a model nobody has audited?
We detect inconsistencies and risk patterns in Revit structural models before they are used for quantities, coordination and site.

Measured on the reference model. It varies with the size and complexity of the file.
Findings
Pick a finding, or tap a marker, to understand what the audit detects.
How it works
- 01
You tell us about the model
We review the project type, the Revit version and the intended use of the information.
- 02
We confirm the scope
We define which file is analysed, how the session runs and which checks apply.
- 03
We run the audit
The analysis is read-only. The model is not modified nor uploaded to an external platform.
- 04
We review the results with you
We interpret the score, locate the findings and agree the correction priorities.
The initial diagnosis takes 20 minutes and determines whether the service applies to the project.
Eight checks on the structural model
Methodology and engine developed by TENSHO
The checks combine Revit data, element geometry and criteria detected inside the model itself.
Joins against convention
Junctions resolved differently from the model's predominant criterion.
Why it matters
The volume of the joint is charged to whichever element cuts. If the criterion changes between joints, the take-off by item stops adding up.
In the example
33 joinsHigh
Unjoined overlaps
Volume shared between concrete elements with no Join Geometry applied.
Why it matters
That shared volume is counted twice in any schedule.
In the example
15 pairs · 0.18 m³High
Exact duplicates
Stacked copies that can create phantom volume and double counting.
Why it matters
The spare adds volume that does not exist on site and shows up in every schedule.
In the example
1 spare · 0.23 m³High
No sector assigned
Elements with no information to organise take-off and progress by work front.
Why it matters
The model knows what exists and on which level, but not which crew pours it or in what week.
In the example
244 elementsMedium
Active Revit warnings
Number, type and recurrence of the warnings left inside the file.
Why it matters
Several warnings of the same type point to a systematic modelling error, not to isolated cases.
In the example
6 warnings · 2 typesMedium
Imported CAD
Identifying embedded files versus files kept as links.
Why it matters
Imported drags in its layers, styles and weight. Linked updates itself and does not clutter the model.
In the example
0 · 3 linkedClear
In-place families
Elements that are hard to standardise, measure and maintain.
Why it matters
They are not typed, not counted with the rest and not updated in bulk.
In the example
0 familiesClear
Views off sheets
Views in the browser that are not part of a published sheet.
Why it matters
They exist in the file but never reach the documentation that gets issued.
In the example
8 viewsLow
Model reliability score
89/100
Acceptable with observations
The findings are few and carry little weight across the model.
Observed: fix the double counting before taking off quantities
- Recommended decision
- Fix before taking off quantities
- Next action
- Fix and re-audit
There is concrete counted twice, so the model’s quantities come out inflated. It can still be used to coordinate geometry, but before using its take-offs as a budget baseline the priority findings must be reviewed and a closing audit run.

- H-01 Joins against convention · 33 joins
- H-02 Unjoined overlaps · 15 pairs · 0.18 m³
- H-03 Exact duplicates · 1 spare · 0.23 m³
- H-04 No sector assigned · 244 elements
The score measures the reliability of the model as a source of information within the audited checks. It does not grade the structural design nor certify the take-off.

The remaining 879 elements are views, levels, grids, annotations, links and auxiliaries: outside the geometric scope.
Checks that come back clear are reported too: knowing what is clean stops the team reviewing it again.

Every finding is located inside Revit
The panel opens next to the model: the score on top and every finding with its count below. From there you select, isolate or colour it in the view, without leaving the file or hunting for the element by hand.

What the report delivers
- Score 0 to 100 and verdict
- The eight checks with severity
- Prioritised correction order
- ElementId and UniqueId per finding
- Affected concrete volume
- CSV to select inside Revit
- What to do in each case
- Scope and what was not reviewed
BIM audit and clash detection do not compete
Clash detection
- Looks for interferences
- Usually compares disciplines or models
- Do the elements collide?
Auditoría BIM Express
- Reviews internal consistency
- Analyses geometry, criteria and traceability
- How reliable is this model for the next decision?
They are not substitutes. They answer different questions and can be part of the same BIM control system.
We identify risk patterns and critical findings that need review before you trust the model.
We do
- Geometric consistency of the concrete: overlaps, duplicates and the cut criterion at joins
- File hygiene: warnings, CAD, in-place families and views off sheets
- Take-off traceability: whether the sector parameter exists and is filled
- Volumes computed on the real geometry of the solids
What is not reviewed
- Structural design: loads, sizing and code compliance
- Reinforcement steel, even where it is modelled
- Clashes with architecture or services: this is the audit of a single model
- Correspondence against issued drawings, nor whether the file is the latest version
- Shared coordinates and grid system against survey
- Documentation quality beyond counting the views that are not on sheets
- Waste, formwork, rebar laps or contingencies
The tool detects. A specialist interprets.
The audit does not end with an automatic list. The results are reviewed and interpreted to explain what affects the intended use of the model and what must be corrected first.

Frequently asked questions
No. The audit runs read-only checks: it creates, deletes and modifies nothing. How it runs is agreed with you before starting.
They are complementary controls. Standards define how the model should be built and clash detection looks for interferences. The audit checks internal patterns that can affect the reliability of its data.
Warnings are one of the eight checks, and usually the one that moves the take-off least. An exact duplicate or an unjoined overlap often raises no warning and still changes quantities.
The initial diagnosis identifies whether the risk and the stage of the project justify an audit. The service can be contracted for a single model before considering a periodic engagement.
No. The score summarises the result of the audited checks. It does not replace reviewing drawings, specifications, budget or the judgement of whoever is responsible for the project.
The engine took 3 seconds on the reference model, and that time varies with file size. The full service includes preparation, execution, interpretation and a review of the results with your team.
Not necessarily. How the audit runs is agreed according to the confidentiality conditions of the project.
